TANGOURLAUB.BERLIN

Felix and Amaya met dancing tango in the wonderful city of Berlin. They began teaching together in January of 2014 offering various courses and workshops in and around Berlin. They dedicate themselves to their craft and strive to offer their students the best possible tango instruction. It is through their own work and understanding of the dance that we have the insight and capacity to share it with others.

AMAYA
Amaya has had a passion for dance since a little girl. She began dancing ballroom as a teenager and especially enjoyed Latin dances. It is in trying many partner dances that she found Argentine Tango. In 2014 Amaya and Felix began teaching together and now teach regularly in Berlin. Amaya's greatest tango teachers are Sara Grdan and Ivan Terrazas, with whom she trains extensively. 

As a certified Gyrotonic trainer, Amaya's knowledge of the body gives her the tools to identify and correct biomechanical issues that inhibit her students from experiencing freedom in movement. She believes in teaching fundamental principles that allow her students to move with ease and freedom in their tango and in their lives. 

FELIX
Felix had his first experience with tango in April of 2006. For three years he continued to learn whatever he could in his hometown in Brandenburg, but finally decided to move to Berlin in 2009. His career as a teacher began to flourish and in 2010 he began teaching in Nou Tango Berlin and in 2013 in Mala Junta.

Felix has learned from many great dancers including Constantin Rueger, Francisco Forquera, Sebastian Achaval, Sara Grdan, Ivan Terrazas, and others.
